Intro happy posters.
There are so many people who make threads in the "Introduce Yourself" section - but most of them don't get out of that phase and post elsewhere. Some people disappear after an introduction - so why even introduce yourself, if you're not going to bother posting with us?

I don't understand ... Someone, please explain.

Who knows, it could've been a spur of the moment posting and they completely forgot about the forum.

Yea that is true...how wired...Maybe they just register for fun to see how it is.... and just forget about the site as concept said....Well this kind of a thing happend to me too... My friend told me about a site i registered intro. myself and never want back to that site...

I'm a member of several forums and I don't post at all. Most of these have content that interests me so I just lurk and absorb in all the information I can.

Yea at least they post... and there is 7 of us posting all the time... i got a web site people just register and never post... the forums are DEAD.... I would say this web site will grow faster everyday if we keep posting around. Every new member likes to see if the forums are active and if it is not they just leave and never come back...I have a compuer class and some off the classmates are on cruckmuffin.com but they dont register they just watch the media...

Yep, some people are immediately turned away when they don't see an extremely active community (e.g. tons of online users, high total post count and number of threads) so it's hard to get the ball rolling with a new community.

As this forum matures I'm sure more people will take part in discussions.
